-So tell us a little about yourself Santosh.
Well I was born and bought up in small town khandapara, Orrisa.
I had completed my education from the same town.
Completed my Bachelor in Fine Arts from Khallikot, Orrisa.
-Where are you from?
I am from khandapara, Orrisa(India).
State famous for rich cultural background specially in Art and crafts.
-How did you get started in digital coloring?
I started digital coloring in year 2000. From my childhood I was
interested in arts and crafting and as the time passes it became my passion.
As panting was my special interest so I started thinking towards
digital coloring. I did lot of projects but the liking for painting never ends.
Now a days I looking towards 3-D animations.
-What were your major influences in your artwork, and
coloring style?
I inspired by comics and my cultural background. And I will not hide
the fact that nature teach me
alot about the color combination and beauty behind the color. I also
admire your way of presentation and coloring.
-What kind of training or school have you had in the
field of Art?
Its 5 year degree programe. It include painting, crafting, graphic
designing, interior decoration, line art etc...lot more to discuss.
-Do you do other Art besides Digital coloring?
Yes, In leisure time I used to paint and currently working on project
for Glass House Graphics,Arcana studio etc.
-Do you have a favorite type of Comic or story that you
like coloring?
Obviously, Tezlon comics.

-What other projects have you worked on besides Tezlon?
Lot of projects are there few of them I have mention above. Apart from
this Indian projects are there.
-What projects are you currently working for Tezlon
Comics?
I am working on "THE SWORDSMAN".
-What is the process you take in creating a comic book page?
What is the process you take in coloring a comicbook
page?
-Any particular computer programs you like the best to
color comics with?
Photoshop, corel painter, illustrator etc.
Well its depend on your creativity, how you choose color and style of
digital coloring.
Main thing is knowledge of color combination.
-What plans do you have for the future?
Still lot more to do in life. Now a days I looking for some advance
software course like 3D Animation, Maaya, Zbrush etc. Apart from this I
looking for my own coloring style. I want excel in this field like a pheonix who
rises from ground and
rises to undefined heights. I would to like to add "Excellency is a right
of human being" and I
am
determine to achieve it.
-What advice can you give to up and coming Colorists?
Nothing to say much about it. But I would say devotion and passion for
art along with lot of practice will going to help the upcoming
Colorist.
